I grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, always making my own toys from cardboard and watching movies about the future. This led me to want to be an inventor. I hadn’t known that the job “inventor” wasn’t a real title — but eventually, I learned that product designer was the modern version of that dream. That realization led me to pursue product design at the University of Kentucky.
